Thank you for being patient while we COMPLETED PHASE 1 REFURBISHMENT OF THE PRACTICE.We have now nearly completed ALL THE CONSULTING ROOMS TO MODERN NHS STANDARDS and COMPLIANT WITH HEALTH & SAFETY. We hope the NEW CHECK-IN and CALLING SYSTEM is working well for you. We have found a DRAMATIC REDUCTION IN DNA's since introducing MORE SAME DAY APPOINTMENTS. We will be shortly working with the MEDICINE MANAGEMENT TEAM AT THE CCG to look at making COST EFFECTIVE SAVINGS FOR THE NHS. This will be mainly for patients on BUTRANS PATCH, DOXAZOSIN, GAVISCON, PEN-NEEDLE AND STOMA PRODUCTS. We hope you welcome these changes which we are obliged to work with the CCG.

Dear Patient,

patient surveyWe are always happy to hear from patients to know how we can improve our service to you and how you perceive our surgery and staff. To help us with this, we are delighted to have established a Patient Participation Group (PPG).

Our PPG currently comprises the following active volunteer members:

  • Jim Hancock (Chair)
  • Colin Ball (Vice-Chair)
  • Horace Sutherland
  • Christine Ball
  • Sarjit Sangha
  • Ann Whitehorn
  • Ellen Ryan
  • Gaynor Farran

The PPG is also happy to include "virtual" members, who retain an interest in the PPG, are able to contribute to discussion, etc. but do not have member voting rights and generally do not attend the regular PPG meetings.

The group meets every 8-10 weeks and is joined by the Acting Practice Manager, Ricki Wittenbaker, and usually one of the doctors from the Practice. The next meeting will take place on Tuesday 21st March 2017 from 7.00 pm at our main surgery at 30 Old Road West.

You will find PPG notice boards in the waiting rooms at both our main and branch surgeries and in the lobby at the main surgery where minutes of meetings and other relevant information are displayed. You can also pick up a leaflet giving information about the PPG including contact details at either surgery.

If you would like to join the PPG, whether as an active or virtual member, or simply want to find out more about the group, please telephone 01474 330180 or email us at

Please click on "Upload Survey Report" to the right of this page to access our latest survey results and annual report from the PPG.
